Data Centre Maintenance

Data centre work is unforgiving. Access is controlled, change windows are short, and the person on the floor has to get it right the first time. ITOX provides engineers who understand rack discipline, cable management and change procedure, and who document what they did.

What we do

  • Rack, stack and decommission equipment to an agreed elevation plan.
  • Replace failed components and swap field-replaceable units under vendor guidance.
  • Act as your hands on the floor when the fault cannot be cleared remotely.
  • Perform structured cable work: patching, dressing, labelling and tracing.
  • Record what was done, what was found, and what remains outstanding.

Response model

Data centre requests are scoped against your change window, not against a generic clock. Tell us the site, the access process and the window, and we confirm what can be covered before anyone is dispatched.

FAQs05

Questions we are asked.

Yes, provided you can sponsor access. Give us the facility, the access procedure and any inductions required, and we will work to the site rules.

Usually you or your vendor supply the part and we perform the work. If you need parts sourced as well, raise it in the request and we will scope it separately.

A written record of the work performed, what was found on site, and anything left outstanding, along with any photographs taken during the visit.
